The new updated visitation hours are 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. No visitation will be permitted to check-in prior to 7:45 am and later than 2:30 pm. The days vary, and usually federal holidays are permitted, except they fall on the weekend. If it is an observed holiday, like Monday, December 26, then visitation would be permitted. It is extremely important to not make any surprise visits, since I will not be akeen to them. Here is the current schedule that I’m permitted visitors:
December 10 – 11 (Saturday & Sunday)
December 18 (Sunday)
December 24 (Saturday)
December 31 – January 1 (Saturday & Sunday)
January 8 (Sunday)
January 14 (Saturday) & Monday for MLK
January 21 – 22 (Saturday & Sunday)
I am now permitted four visits per month with a limit of 2 people per visit. There is no longer the 3 hour limitation, but they do not have vending machine food, as previously noted due to Covid. No food or medications are permitted and no water, cell phones, etc. Basically, it is just yourself. They do not permit purses or wallets or money. Basically, it is like you are going through TSA security at the airport where you cannot have anything on your person.
